Bernard Park, MD
Dr. Park is Deputy Chief of Clinical Affairs of the Thoracic Surgery Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He was Co-Chief of Thoracic Oncology at the John Theurer Cancer Center, and is considered a world leader in robotic video-assisted thoracic surgery. He specializes in surgery of the chest, lungs, esophagus, and mediastinum.
Dr. Park received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in general surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Cornell University. He also completed a fellowship in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Park is a member of professional societies such as the American Association of Cancer Research, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Surgeons, and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
