Dennis J. Rassias, MD
Dr. Rassias is a thoracic surgeon at Albany Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery. He specializes in thoracic oncology, esophageal disease, minimally-invasive and video-assisted surgery. He is also considered a specialists in the treatment of mesothelioma.
Dr. Rassias received a bachelor’s degree from Clark University, and a medical degree from Ross University. He completed a residency in general surgery at Stamford Hospital, and another in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Albany Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in thoracic surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael.
Dr. Rassias is board certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, and is a member of professional societies such as the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
