Robert N. Taub, MD
Dr. Taub is a medical oncologist and hematologist at NY-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center, where he serves as Director of the hospital’s Mesothelioma Center. He is recognized as the world’s foremost authority on the treatment of peritoneal mesothelioma. He has received recognition from the Beth Israel Cancer Research Fund, the Mount Sinai Hospital, as well as the American Cancer Society.
Dr. Taub received his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, and completed his internship at New England Medical Center-Tufts University. He also completed a fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital before joining the Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Taub has co-authored over 135 peer-reviewed articles, as well as numerous book chapters on the subject of mesothelioma, sarcoma and other areas of expertise. He has also served on the editorial boards of multiple medical magazines.
