Travis Grotz, MD, Mayo Clinic
Dr. Travis Grotz is a surgical oncologist and Assistant Professor in Surgery at Mayo Clinic. At Mayo Clinic, Dr. Grotz has created a multidisciplinary peritoneal surface malignancy program which has incorporated enhanced recovery surgery protocols, translational research and clinical trials. He has expertise in the HIPEC procedure (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy), which is the primary surgical approach to the treatment of peritoneal mesothelioma. He serves as a panel member for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) subpanel for peritoneal mesothelioma. He also serves on the scientific advisory board for the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
Dr. Grotz completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic and his fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
