Cherie P. Erkmen, MD
Dr. Erkmen is a cardiothoracic surgeon at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center’s Norris Cotton Cancer Center, as well as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Dartmouth University’s Geisel School of Medicine.
Dr. Erkmen received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Erkmen is board certified in thoracic and cardiac surgery. Her research interests include thoracic oncology, esophageal surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and intraoperative thoracic imaging.
