Nicholas J. Vogelzang, MD
Dr. Vogelzang is a medical oncologist at the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. In addition to specialization in mesothelioma, his research also focuses on prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer.
Dr. Vogelzang received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Chicago’s Rush University Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Vogelzang’s prior experience includes serving as the Director of the University of Chicago Cancer Research Center, as well as Director of the Nevada Cancer Institute. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Association of Cancer Research, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Urological Association.
Dr. Vogelzang is also board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, and has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
