Eric Vallieres, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Vallieres is the Surgical Director of the Lung Cancer Program at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. His research focuses on induction chemotherapy in the treatment of surgical lung cancer, with specialties in mesothelioma, as well as bronchoscopy, chest wall tumors, esophageal achalasia and hyperhidrosis.
Dr. Vallieres received his medical degree from the Université Laval in Quebec. He then completed a residency at the University of Toronto, and a fellowship under Professor Louis Couraud in Bordeaux, France.
Dr. Vallieres is board certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery. He is a member of numerous professional societies such as the Royal College of Physical Surgeons, the Society of Thoracic Surgery, and the Western Thoracic Surgical Association.
