Dr. Seinfeld is a cardiothoracic surgeon at St. Francis Medical Center. He specializes in carotid endarterectomies and coronary artery bypasses, as well as lung cancer, mediastinal tumors and mesothelioma.
Dr. Seinfeld received his medical degree from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed a residency in general surgery from New York University, and another in cardiothoracic surgery from Yale-New Haven Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Considered a mesothelioma specialist, Dr. Seinfeld is board certified in thoracic surgery and cardiac surgery.
