Lary Robinson, MD
Dr. Robinson is Director of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. With over 35 years of experience, his research primarily focuses on advanced lung cancer and surgical treatment of mesothelioma, a disease in which he specializes.
Dr. Robinson received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After completing an internship at Duke University in 1974, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a Flight Surgeon. He has completed fellowships in Surgery Research and Cardiac Surgery at Duke University, as well as a residency in General and Thoracic Surgery at Duke. Dr. Robinson also completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at St. Thomas Hospital in London.
He is board certified in Surgical Critical Care, and has authored and co-authored over 125 books, articles, studies or commentaries.
