Dr. Richard Berri serves as Director of Surgical Oncology and Peritoneal Malignances Program at the Van Elslander Cancer Center at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He leads the HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) program for St. John Providence Health. HIPEC treats advanced cancers that have spread to the abdominal cavity. Dr. Berri utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care – seeking the best treatment plan in a collaborative manner. He is focused on prolonging the length and improving the quality of life for cancer patients. Dr. Berri’s goals also include continuing clinical trials and research.
