Dr. Perez-Soler is Chief of the Division of Oncology at the Montefiore Medical Center, and a professor of Medicine and Molecular Pharmacology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has received numerous awards for accomplishments in the field of lung cancer research, and he is considered an international expert in experimental cancer therapy.

Dr. Perez-Soler completed his medical degree at Universidad Autonoma in Barcelona, Spain, as well as a residency in Internal Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the M.D. Anderson Hospital Cancer Center at the University of Texas.

Dr. Perez-Soler is a member of the Executive Advisory Committee of the General Clinical Research Center, and has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and papers concerning mesothelioma and small-cell lung cancer.
