Anne S. Tsao, MD
Dr. Tsao is an Associate Professor of Thoracic Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, as well as director of the center’s mesothelioma and thoracic chemo-radiation programs. She specializes in head, neck and thoracic oncology, and is considered a national expert on the treatment of mesothelioma.
Dr. Tsao received her medical degree at the University of Chicago. She completed residencies at Indiana University and the University of Texas, as well as a fellowship at the University of Texas.
Dr. Tsao is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. She has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters concerning the treatment of malignant mesothelioma.
